Did you share a bedroom with your siblings when you were growing up?

Or were you an only child, or really spoilt and had a room all to yourself?

lol

I had to share first with my brother and sister, then my sister maybe till I was about 13.. and I got my own room..

but my lil bro came along and we had to take turns to have his cot in our room, and he used to wake up real early and shake his cot and his toys and google words and wake me up at like 5am.. mad

When my sister came along, I had to share a room. I had 3 brothers who all shared a room then I shared a room with my sister. It sucked. I was 16-17 when I finally got my own room.

so i slept in the crib in my parents bedroom till i was 3
then had a room to myself smile

and an attic to play house in
and a balcony to play barbies in
and a den to watch tv and play atari in
and a barn to play with kitties in
and trees to make forts in
and a pond to skate on
and miles to ride my bike around
and a garage to rollerskate in

5 folks in a typical shotgun house (all the rooms in a row from front to back with adjoining doors)

My three sisters shared one room....and I shared a room with my dad.....

absolutely NO privacy since the bathroom was the last room in the house and you had to go thru every room to get thru to it..... eek eek

Yes, shared with my sister, who is almost 3 years younger. It was hell. We never got along. Ever done the 'tape down the middle of the room' thing? I remember trying to figure out how to construct an actual wall through the room with my 4th grade construction skills. . . complete with a little vestibule so that we would have separate entrances. . . falloff

Oh yeah.. we each had our own seperate sides.. I can remember issuing myself an ID card so I could allow myself over to her side.. lol she didnt quite understand

I can remember aswell she hated writing her diary so I wrote her own diary for her

and we used to play with the torch when lights were out and make shapes on the ceiling..

I remember we had a nail growing competition too.. and her nails grew much faster than mine and I knew she was gonna win.. so I waited till she fell asleep and bit all her nails off.. spat them on the floor..

woot! I won!

I used to share my bedroom with my sister. I was on the top bunk and sometimes I used to reach down and slap her on the head when she slepped. Me being the oldest also got to keep the room and I gotmy Mum to paint me Superman on my wardrobe.
