I was always the one who got bullied. I did not have many friends at school, because I could not trust anyone. When I made friends they turned their back on me because the people bullying me made them do it. I still do not understand why they did it to me. It might have been because I was a shy girl.

I went to my high school reunion last summer and this short former stoner punk skateboarder type said he had a big crush on me. I was thinking "how could an advanced placement orchestra nerd like me be hanging out with the likes of you?" lol Of course, now I regret because he was pretty hot. shrug

I had a huge crush on our best soccer player- he was gorgeous, long hair, rocker surfer guy all in one. I wonder if he is still hot.

My high school (and first true) love was sooooo the opposite of me in just about every way. I was in all the nerdy classes and theatre and he was a serious bad boy, had been to jail, his parents disowned him and everything. But our taste in music and fashion was the same. lol

That sounds really hot. biggrin When I lived in France, I had a fling with a bad French boy who had gotten deported from the US for stealing scooters. He was really hot too.

You know that's the truth. At the reunion, all the popular guys were suffering more hair loss than everyone else it seemed and had that beer belly thing happening. biggrin Most of them were outright unrecognizable. Of course, it had been more than a few years. lurking

We didn't have so many stereo types as such but i know what i was in highschool lol there were a few groups- mine were kinda Funny/A little bit weird/Witty/Smart ones. I took pride in entertaining my friends that's for sure. I was either singing or making them laugh! I wasn't popular, i went to choir for more than half my years there...we sang at old people's homes, at school assemblies, soirees...so i wasn't ever the popular kind so to speak. But I did have dress sense enough to have a penchant for funky up-does and a tendency to roll up my school skirt to make it into a mini lol...so long as you could see the shape of my legs, it was all good- even though i went to an all girls school- we were always consciously and sub-consciously comparing bodies i guess. Pretty normal i suppose. Bah.

Hung out with the goth/nerd/drama/queer/art kids (small school, there was a lot of overlap lol ). I guess I was identified most with the drama thing. Probably 'cause of, you know, being on stage and all.

And whenever I hear somebody say they "got along with everybody" what I hear is "I ignored people like you and looked the other way when the popular kids were bullying you." I'm a tad bitter. smile

Oh, I could have fit into several of those groups. lol

The nerd. The smart one and the clueless one.

I didn't really fit in with a lot of the kids where I lived; I was just seen as this poncey, well spoken, quiet, sickeningly nice, swotty gay boy. Butter wouldn't melt. But I was clueless in that I was very naive and took almost everything at face value. I'm still pretty clueless. lol

none of the above lol... I was the 'loner who got swept away with any show of fake kindness by supposed new friends until I got trod on again' type lol

I got along with everyone.

I too was allowed to hang out in the band room and jam on instruments for hours on end (guitars, drums, keys), though I wasn't a band dork.

I was way obsessed with Prince, but it was all in the 80s so it was cool. I got lots of people listening to him.

Now I look back and realize I was clueless.

Did you let him know that you were crushing? I found out lots of times after I graduated that a good number of underclassmen (as well as a couple of my classmates) had the hots for me....and its not like I was Adonis cruising the hallways.....at least not then..... biggrin

the ones that you never glanced sideways at in the hallway are the ones that you run into who just flat out stun you....more times than not I run into one of the "plain jane" types who are just flat out gorgeous....whereas the "too hot for HS 'boys'" types are almost always twice the person they were.....at least twice.....evillol

I got along with everyone. I flirted with all the hot teachers nod
I was the class clown who would always get kicked out but I always passed with high grades.

And then I got to junior high school and H.S and remained the same way biggrin
