I was the cat that was always in the music room, not a "band geek" but my music teacher saw i had potential and would allow me to be in there all the time, with permission of my teachers as long as i maintained my grades which i did smile

No group

I didn't have time for my peers, they were common. I did my time in class, then I'd go downtown and hang out with all the cool art school kids. We'd melt crayons and listen to krautrock music.

I got along well with and had many good friends if many of the gropus.

I never found myself attached to one myself. I didnt like the mind games and peer pressure involved to be "cool" and in with the crowd

I did my own thing and had a blast ... i'm a loop leaver and a line crosser, always have been

I had friends in my honors/AP/college level classes (we had college in the schools classes where we actually got college credit at the U of M my senior year), I had my friends in theatre/thespians (I did every play but 2 all through high school, we produced 3-4 a school year), and then by my 11th and 12th grade year there were the people I ate lunch with, who probably woulda been called the "alternative" kids (though we all loathed the term), and then all my friends I hung out with on weekends, most of whom didn't go to my school and were my senior year boyfriend's friends, who were also "freaks" but we also went to raves and did drugs. neutral

I wore many hats in high school. lol

I got along with everyone - mostly the guys. Girls got on my nerves. I moved to Florida from Maryland and I did not adjust well with the cliquey girls.
I guess I was more of a tomboy and hung with the guys.
Mostly stoners though... boxed

I was always told I was just one of the guys- they felt comfortable farting and telling jokes around me.
