That's great! I was in band too when I was in high school...I played clarinet (for 11 years) and then became Drum Major...those are some of my fondest memories from school. Keep with it! | |

A fellow clarinet player... I was thinking about trying out for field commander next year myself. But, I don't know if I'm good enough for that. I have the discipline, and responsibility, but I'm not much for pepping people up. I'm not a peppy person. Also, I really do enjoy marching! -------

It's really a lot of fun...learning how to direct and everything...and you still march...you're just in front. And, of course, you'll still play clarinet during concert season.
