Living wills are important- since the Terry Shiavo thing, I made sure I got one of those. I really have no debt and nothing valuable so I really do not worry about a will for when I die but I am more concerned about being alive and being kept like that in a vegatative state for years... | |

Both my wife and I are from Louisiana, which is a community property state....so she'd get my crap and I'd get hers regardless....and if we both bite it, then by law, the kids get it....HOWEVER.....
Louisiana law is so screwy that even though I'm required to get one by the Army before I deploy anywhere, I have to have a lawyer who is licensed by the state to administer and sign it....which is too much hassle for most Army posts.... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.
