how GROSS are shrimp/crab/lobster/catfish?? I mean really??

I always knew these were scavenger fish. I mean hell, they call shrimp "water roaches" ill But after watching these fuckers feast on BACTERIA on one of the Planet Earth installments last night I'm really fucking grossed out. eek

I just sauteed a whole BAG of shrimp last night! lol I already shy away from catfish but can I really give up the delightful flavor of shrimp/crab/lobster??? confused HUH?? sad

So tell me - the seafood that's in our food chain... those muthafuckas are eating bacteria? boxed

Why am I asking this - I know the shit is gross no matter what. I'm just not ready to give up seafood pout Are there ANY clean fish? What's the cleanest fish to eat? lol

false , it is NOT good for you. scavangers have simple digestive systems, and the stuff they eat, decaying dead materials, thier own shit etc. is poisonous. The toxins immediately become part of thier flesh.

You wanna eat that tripe?

all of these things are the oceans and lakes vacuume cleaners, so in other words your eating a vacuume bag full of whatever they cleaned off the floor of the lake/ocean.

but certain bacteria are good and others are bad.
and we usually try to eat the good in order to control the bad.

also its not only bacteria but other toxins givin off by dead things that are poisonous to humans.
I think alot of people think poison mean immeadiate death. But it doesnt.
It can just mean long term abnormal funtions of the body. Such as allergies, which are a giant indication of your immune response not behaving correctly.

They showed them eating a dead carcas that had floated to the ocean floor. I mean, I knew it, I'd just never seen it. It's like when a meat eater goes to a slaughter house & can't eat meat again after they see the process... or something sad

That's ok. shrug I feel tons better, and have better skin, hair, etc. because I eat lots of seafood. It's a main part of my diet.

I only worry about mercury levels.

I'd rather eat a fish that had that in its system than canned and processed food which has bugs and by-products in it. disbelief They say that in almost every canned food or pre-packaged food, you're eating cockroach bits anyway. They get into everything at the factory and they can't really do anything about it.

I never eat anything out of a can, except maybe tuna once every month or so.

Fish usually, but I do eat mussels, shrimp, etc. from time to time. Not as much as fresh fish though.

This thread is about SCAVENGERS in the sea and people who eat them.

Scavengers are NOT Tuna, Salmon, Mackerel, SEA WEED etc.

we dont want to confuse anyone

SCAVENGERS ARE: shrimp, lobster, clams, catfish etc.
things that eat other dead things
Pigs are also scavengers. AKA bottom feeders
