When the bananas are super-overripe I mash them and mix them in with the wet ingredients. Otherwise I'll slice them and lay them on the circles of batter as they cook. Then when you flip them the slices of banana get all butter-browned... drool

ewww... i like my bananas to remain in their phalic looking form


that sounds about as silly as my cousins who spread peanut butter on their pancakes instead of syrup nuts

i get a blue cornbread mix from trader joes that is the best stuff in the world.

it has little chunks of sweet corn and jalapeno in it, and it's sweet/savory/spicy all at the same time. drool

I make cornbread 4 times a month or more nod

There are different types of cornbread as well biggrin

It is made with ground corn "cornmeal" usually baked in a cast iron skillet

yes depending on the type of cornmeal one uses there is much corn flavor or less
some people put in theirs also corn striped from the cob

there really is many many ways to make it
