In an effort to trim the considerable amount of fat I now have hanging on my body from only 6 months of crappy habbits, I've been drinking smoothies for breakfast.

I'm now addicted to this juice made from spinach, celary and carrots. Yeah, it sound nasty, but it taste great and is addictive. I think I'll get me a juicer.

It sucks being in your 30's. rolleyes

actually, yerba mate is an excellent breakfast because it's packed with vitamins and a natural stimulant, plus it suppresses your appetite. it does everything but style your hair (though yerba mate is known to thicken your hair).

so...good choice!

What kind is it???? Where can I buy it?? lol seriously, I am not a tea expert.....

do you have a bulk coffee and tea shop near where you live? they usually carry it.

health food stores usually carry it too, though i would recommend buying it in bulk instead of in teabags because i think the bulk stuff is more potent. just use a teaball or make it in a bodum/french press (which is what i do).

if you have argo tea (which is becoming a big corporate chain like starbucks, only with tea instead of coffee), you can get yerba mate there. i got some YM for my mom from argo tea and she loves it.

you can get it plain, which is green in color and will produce a light green, kind of grassy-tasting tea (great with honey), or you can get roasted yerba mate, which is my favorite, and kinda has the same body/strength/color as coffee.

it's good stuff - highly recommended. thumbs up!

Thanks! smile

I also eat a piece of 9 grain toast with a tablespoon of coconut oil solids every morning (for my skin and hair - it also has other benefits). You spread it over the toast just like you would butter - it tastes great!

I'll take that with a mushroom omelet and a short stack of banana pancakes. Extra butter and I take my coffee black, no sugar. You're a doll.
