Do You feel drawn to another as if by magical power, because the other person represents something inside you that needs expression through relationship?

Is it really the power of your own psyche that you may feel in this attraction ?

I think we are all drawn to each other magically, spiritually some stronger than others but yeah i do believe that.

I feel drawn very strongly to those that have qualities i admire and that demonstrate things i try to demonstrate. I think that i am drawn to those because i see good within them and i want those influences in my life. I am a giver and i often find that givers get neglected because they attract takers. That is demoralising so i guess in some ways my desire to be drawn to others similar fulfills 2 desires, to be able to give to another and hopefully to get in return. I am very much a 50-50 kinda guy.

I also believe that love has many facets and many ways of expression and i need to express these as well as have them expressed to me. Its how i am.

I will say, I have felt instant connections with a few people in my life, one in particular. Within minutes of meeting her we pretty much dominated all conversation with those around us, finally excused ourselves to talk alone and had plans to be best friends for the evening. And pretty much were. This was one night I was in New Orleans many years ago. I went home and never saw or spoke to her again, but I don't think I've ever felt so drawn to someone in such a short amount of time and felt a real connection as well.


I don't know if that's what you're talking about, though.

Then yes, that's probably true. But I think the opposite can sometimes be true, too.

I have a spiritual connection to a lot of people here, im not sure of they feel me as much as i feel them sometimes, but we all connect on certain levels, i truly believe there's this energy that connects us from distances.

I'm the same. I was once annoyed in a wine store when I was in a hurry and a little boy just kept walking in my way and stopping and he had his back to me the whole time and I was getting more and more frustrated that his mother wasn't grabbing him away when he turned around and looked up at me with big eyes and said "You have really, REALLY pretty hair!"




I walked out happy.

well our connection is deep and not just because we follow the same path, people have strong vibes and connections and what kills me is that some people think connections are purely sexual, thats the farthest from the truth yes granted some have a sexual connection but it doesnt have to mean "having sex" with that person its much more of a deeper thing than that.

i'd usually have some bloopy insightful-ish answer to something like this, but right now i have no freakin clue what draws one person to another. i think its the gods playing pokemon or something.
