OK, so last month we laid off 40% of our staff and I thought I may be one of those. Well, it turns out that I was safe.


But, I feel like I'm a cast member in one of those tacky "Left Behind" stories. Today, I just found out an additional team member has quit his job and another got fired for fucking something up big time. That leaves us with 5 guys to run 100 projects or so.



And there is no talks at all about getting staff to replace them as there is a hiring "Freeze" for our department, and our managers are too afraid to demand things of their management, etc. etc.


At which point does it not become hilarious?


My colleagues and I have stopped panicking about the ship sinking, and are now laughing are asses off. We're all casting ourselves as actors in that stupid movie, Titanic




I may be bringing an PDA or laptop to the Miami invasion.

Honestly, this is turning out to be one fucking entertaining week. My boss just had ANOTHER nervous breakdown and is threatening to leave again.
