HELP! Cosmos flowers dying!!!! Hi,
I started growing my own cosmos plants and the grew about 4-5 inches tall and have started to wilt, and the older ones have little white spots on them. I checked the water that drained from the plant and it is brown ( it is usually just water with dirt and mud). I don't know what to do, could someone please help me? I will post a picture in a second.... Thank you so much!!! it is night time so i made one with adobe/paint, and my camera cant take good pics at this time of night, here is another one taken by the camera... it's not so good thanks again! Nope..startin from seed is fine...just looks like a bit to much water...give 'em a lil sunshine and they should perk right up....they look pretty good...the lil white is jus from to much water is all....they are a wildflower and sperad like mad so wherever you plan to plant it be ready for a bounty full...
Sometimes to much love can kill.. Lil less on the water should help and maybe a lil fish emulsion will give them a boost as well... Best of luck and don't worry...I will be anxious to see your results

Every time I've started plants from seed indoors, they end up wilting after a while. I over water them.

You can buy it at any garden shop...stinks to high heaven but, helps all flowers bloom....comes in a liquid form and don't use to much...very potent...it'll tell u on the package how much to apply...it's like useing dead fish on plants...great for them...
You will have much success with it...I highly recomend it..

there is a point at which some plants just don't do well inside anymore
move them outside if it is warm enough where you are but yeah, cosmos are fairly drought tollerant aren't they?? perhaps you could let the surface get dry before you water.
