Support your local stores! Ok its a boring thread but its a worthwhile cause
One cos we had a family business and with the sheer growth of super stores and supermarkets selling more than just groceries we sold up.. gave up and my Mum went into early retirement two.. our local newsagent now that has been in business for years and years and years.. sell paperts, deliver them, milk and eggs too.. cards stationery, mags, newspapers.. etc etc etc.. the supermarket around the corner has started selling that stuff too and over taking their business.. It puts so many people out of work and kills the small friendly community So really I just want to say.. where before we had a butchers, bakers, florists, post office, all the amenities we MAY have taken for granted have gone, please support your local family (more reliable and people friendly) run store.. . well said support small business
Bloody large super stores will be the death of this nation. When they have pushed all small businesses out of business watch them hike the prices up big time. | |
