In some traditions/religions it's against dharma to accept gifts. It's considered an entanglement or attachment, whereas the act of selfless serving and sacrifice is a form of liberation. I somewhat agree with this take on things. | |

I think a nice dinner would be good. You can tell the person how much you appreciated it. Simple and sincere.
