It's always interested me to see if people *think* they are capable of taking another human life or not?

You know, alot of people who commit murder or manslaughter are not genetically predisposed, nor does enviromental factors come into play.

People commit these crimes for many reasons, sometimes things happen in the heat of the moment, people don't realise how easy it is to kill someone.

So let me ask you, do you belive you are capable of killing someone?
Because personally i think we all are in the right circumstance.

I am not capable of killing a fly. So a human, I dont think so

Don't belive it for a second, if a guy came into your house with a knife and said he was gonna kill you and your family, and you had a gun in the house and you were 100% convinced he would act on his words...you wouldn't defend yourself?

No.

I'm not sure I could even save myself, were it a self-defense kind of thing.

Yes, I believe in the moment of anger or rage I would be capable of killing someone.

i was in a business like partnership years ago - 3 people ... the one guy in this thing turned out to be a total a__hole ...

i remember - at one point ... thinking .... if i had a gun ... i would take him out ... ... really hit me hard ... cus ... i realized RIGHT THERE .... that i had to get out ... and i did .... it took me years to recover ...

along that line - i now do have a handgun ... and ... i have to say ... it is a difficult thing to FIRE ... and be accurate ... i used to always wonder ... why would you kill anyone ... why NOT just fire at a nut or a leg ... etc .. but now having fired a weapon a few times ... it isnt as easy as one might thing ... PLUS .... in the heat of the moment ... if someone is coming towards ya ... i can see ... how .... oops ... etc ...

Speaking for myself...yes i think i am capable. Even though i'm the most non violent person ever. I've only had two fights in my life and lost both!

I think the seed is inside all of us, you just hope it desen't have the right soil to grow...so to speak.

Its strange, just one punch can kill somebody. u see people fighting in the street when they leave bars etc... one wrong punch and its game over. its one of the reasons i stopped fighting. i never purposely went out to fight but i would always defend myself. now i just look at a situation alot sooner. If i can get away before trouble starst then thats better.

I think i would rather be killed than kill. Have u ever dreamed that u killed somebody? thats some scary shit.

yes i am capable when i comes to protecting my kids with no hesitation. i can't even say that for myself.

I am more than capable of killing somone. I am pretty sure I could not murder somone. Well I take that back, if somone hurt my daughters or family bad enough and I killed them for it, I guess that would be considered murder.

Could I kill in cold blood or out of jealosy or envy....I really do not think so.
