I went to traffic court to fight 2 parking tickets. When I got there I found out I actually had 8 that I had never received and with the late fees included it totaled over $500. I went in expecting to pay $50 and walked out having to pay $150 instead mad This was 2 years ago and my friend just saw it on tv the other night! They call the show "Caught in Providence" and film everyone in the court room! I was so embarrassed! redface

Yeah it's a local cable access channel but everyone watches it because it's so funny. It's usually on around 3am...when you're returning home from the bars and loaded so it's 10 times funnier than when sober. The judge is actually quite popular now from the show.

The worst thing was when I woke up late for a flight to San Deigo.

I had to try and secure a flight that morning, and the only one available was for a different carrier, so I couldn't get a refund, and I had to shell out 700 bucks or something falloff It was aweful.
Then I had to call my relatives in Cali and tell them I would be late due to oversleeping.

That's the last time I go out drinking before a next day flight. disbelief

Oh fuck,, I used to do that alot..

I was flying out to the far east the next morning.. got excited, went out, came in late.. and just got woken up by the cab driver ringing my doorbell early the next morning.. realised I hadnt even packed.. literally grabbed bundles of clothing from each drawer.. didnt know what I had in my suitcase and head off to the airport in a cab with dark shades on..

As far as actual charges, what pisses me off, is that when I go to my dermatologist, I pay a 25 dollar co-pay. Then my insurance handles the rest.

But I still get an additional bill from them for 12 bucks. It's money that is not mentioned in my insurance payment slip, and appears to be a charge the charge me in addition to the co-pay and outside the scope of what the insurance company pays--the insurance company doesn't even appear to know about it.

It's not expensive or anything, but it seems a bit shady.
