NO humouring for a week Yes, it makes the world go round. Being completely honest all the time is not something anybody wants, despite the value we place on honesty. However, for one week starting now I shall do away with any humouring in my posts. I think I've always been pretty honest up to now so it shouldn't be so difficult, right?
If I'm bullshitting on this it won't work, of course, so I'm going to do this right. For one week, no humouring, no insincerity, no nice emoticons where I feel otherwise. Just complete honesty. This ain't no 'no using an 'e' for a week' petty stunt. Oh no, this is something else, and no, it doesn't mean I've been being insincere all this time. Yes, it requires some understanding that we all humour people a little in life. Like Marx said, or Dostoyevsky, it's the oil that wheels the something of the democratic something or other, and I'm done with it for a week, starting now.

No emoticons?
That sounds like no fun.... is it possible? (sorry)

But what about the "no using the e for one week"? can't you mix these both? That would be fun

I like you. At first I thought you were just stupid. Then I got to know you more and I realised you weren't. After that I got to know you a little more and realised you are stupid. But by stupid in this last sentence I mean ignorant. You just don't know as much as some other people here do about some things that get posted on the org. I can empathise with you sometimes in this sense as I'm so out of the loop about some things, but then there are only so many parallels you can draw between you and me. We're vastly different, and I spell and punctuate better, but it comes down to kinds of intelligence. You make me laugh as much as anyone here, and honestly I'm still trying to figure out if it's wittingly or unwittingly, but ultimately I feel positive vibes coming from you always and I love that you're here. I appreciate you and your outlook on life and respect what I see as an independence in you and an ability to care for people. I love you more than you could know for what I see as having certain things in life sorted, things I wish I could emulate. I don't go for blondes so I don't find you that physically attractive, but I do think you have a good body. You have beautiful children too, just adorable.

Well, we're off to a good start. There's no humour in this thread.

That would take up more time than I have, and believe me, I have a lot of time, but that would be like David Blaine actually completing a stunt.

Like scaringly smart I think, like, could build a bomb or commit mass murders and never get caught smart. And your cute. Thanks, for the 'cute' part. I'm not, but the pics I post may have you think so. I've edited some of them quite a bit. For your compliments I'm grateful as they make me feel good. I didn't say you're not attractive to some. I just very rarely find blondes attractive. You have a good body. I'm not that smart. I don't have a degree, but I could easily manage an undergraduate, though a masters would be beyond me owing to my lack of discipline. I don't know all that much, but I write reasonably well and that covers the cracks.

I said 'no nice emoticons where I feel otherwise'. I'll still use emoticons. They help being understood. There may be less emoticons though. I will think long and hard about whether they convey genuine feelings.

You'll be drawn into a Photograph your Feet thread before you know it.

Also- just because you do not have a degree- that does not mean that you are not smart Ok...carry on!!!
