I've never looked for organic there, I go to the farmers markets for that. yeah, i got a nice organic farmer who delivers his in seasonal veggies and meats to my door for a fat fee. But you know, you need other things. Still must be nice to have home deliveries! You can pay a lot for "organic" at the stores anyway, and you never really know...you know? they sell organic? thats a shock, most of the stuff i see just looks like it could be organic because of the labels, but its not. They don't claim to be an organic grocer though, I think their hook is "tastes from around the world" or some shit, not necessarily organic. You want Whole Foods for that, they carry lots of organic stuff (maybe all??)... it costs a shitload too...

Maybe in the world of organic foods (which I don't do much of), but in the plain old "food" world those bitches are HIGH...

There are 2 Trader Joes close to me...and yet I've never set foot in one.
My wife has gone a few times, but we've just never gotten into doing our grocery shopping there. Would love to get their hormone/antibiotic-free meat every now & then. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

As far as I'm concerned, I must have a fully stocked shelf of their simmer sauces at all times.

Had a friend years ago who would always tell me about TJ's this, TJ's that & how good it was. At the time the closest store was too far to travel. But now that I'm closer I'm in that bitch errry week

Pick ONE of each (ONE!!!) from TJ's that you simply cannot live without beverage dinner/food item snack (sweet or salty) staple (a certain bread, milk, anything basic) condiment As for me: beverage: Rio Red Grapefruit juice, when they stop making this I'm literally going to CRY. It's the best ever dinner/food: the frozen Tempura Vegetables I don't know what they do to their soy sauce & tempura batter but fuck me, it's addictive snack: Inka banana chips, I love snacking on these @ work... staple: Middle Eastern flatbread, it goes bad really quickly but it's so damn handy for making wraps & things... condiment: the Basil Pesto - great on sandwiches, in eggs, I slap it on anything Do tell, I need some new stuff to try Did you hear they are opening a TJs in Rockridge, next to Zachary's Pizza where the Albertsons used to be. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

Mmmmm I love Trader Hoe's! I can't believe the Gnocchi Gorganzola has not been mentioned. And hello? Charles Shaw 2 buck chuck? Hell yes. I don't care how fast that wine turns into vinegar. I always grab a couple bottles when I go.
The only treats my dog goes crazy for are from TJs. I love their zucchini bread, honey pretzel sticks, and their wheat/gluten free bread. The provolone cheese is the best and the lentil soup is not too shabby either. Good stuff.
