So Im still flirting with this idea of getting a tattoo. Everyone says get something that means something to you but I havent a clue what. I definetely dont want some shitty Celtic band or anything frightning (skulls etc). Any ideas?

I always say use stuff that menas something but JD, you are travelling, this moment in your life is huge. Take some designs from places you have visited, and build them into a design that encapsulates your whole trip. I have a book on tribal tattoos that I am looking at, at the moment, south america, far east all have great history of tatooing. Loads of inspiration. Let me know where you have been and I will scansome for you if you like.

Ya know what? I can't stand when people talk about the meanings of their tattoos because 50% of the meanings are bogus or dumb. If you like something and want to tattoo it on you, that right there is your reason.

People look at some of my tattoos and say "What does it mean?" with this snotty look on their face. I say it means I like tattoos and you're a dick. Do you ever watch Miami Ink and listen to the bogus stories? Gag me with a fucking spoon. Yes there are some that hold very special meaning and that is wonderful, but you don't have to have that for a tattoo. Do what you want!!
