I just met a friend for coffee and dessert (I got decaf!) and her mother's boyfriend recently took what he thought was a rather nice photo of me. He blew it up and matted it and it's in black and white and if I do say so myself, it is a nice picture. But now I don't know what to do with it! It just seems a little strange to put it on a wall in my house.
Maybe inside my closet...  I just received the same gift. Well, the picture is of me, not of you, and the gifters will different people, but you get the idea. Anyhoo, I can't bring myself to hang it. I guess I am not opposed to having a framed snapshot of myself in the house, although I don't, but it feels inappropriate to hang a big picture of myself in my own house. I guess it might be different if I lived with family, or whatever, but it somehow seems stranger because I live alone. I don't mind a few small pictures of me with other people.
