Till Death Do Us Part - TV Show with John Waters

You are not going to hear about this show, as it's on Court TV, which I suppose is doing original progamming now.

It's called Till Death Do Us Part and it's hosted by John Waters. The Premise: Takes court cases in which a loving spouse has killed the other and it depicts what happened. Each episode starts with the marriage ceremony and then John Waters will do a little speech on who the characters are and will mention when things turn for the worse. The next scene usually shows the couples no longer living contently and it goes from there, leaving the viewer to wonder what happened to the blissful couple and what will be their demise. Also how will they get caught, as these are based on actual cases.

It's kinda Law and Order (without the cops) mixed in with Despeate Housewives. John Waters serves as the Rod Sterling of the show. It's funny, dramatic and keeps you guessing as to who is going to kill who. In fact in each episode you can text who you think is going to kill whom and they show the results towards the end. We taped the last two episodes and I was jumping for the fast forward button during the commercials...it was that good.

Interesting project for Waters...I guess he is making a kids film next. But a real kids film...for kids.

What's going on with Waters in his old age?

He was on the Colbert Report promoting this show. I saw part of an episode, it reinforce my desire not to even think about getting married again.

They might repeat them. I can't imagine they have THAT much original TV.

Not sure if you'd know him as he is a bit of a indie/cult director. He is director/writer of

Hairspray
Serial Mom
Polyester
Pink Flamingos (Not with Matt Dillon)

and a bunch of other movies you proabably never heard of nor seen.
