First day of spring marriage

Hey today I've been married for 30 years. we got married in a fever, but it's lasted this long and I would like to say I was 10 close to it though 19. I feel
like to the last in a dying breed. Any one out there hope to make it that long? biggrin biggrin

I think that it takes trust to make a marriage work this long. If I were married to Prince, I would always be wondering if he was faithful, and is he spending way to much time with those damn twinz!!

I think it would be hard to be married to Prince because you'd always come second to the music. The fact that he is always surrounded by beautiful women wouldn't help. I guess you'd have to be really secure and have a really strong connection with him, which seems almost impossible to establish unless you'd known him for years. His dating pool seems awfully small...

That's why he oughta try marrying a woman sometime, instead of a child. Someone who's a little more secure in who she is and...ya know...maybe has a few interests of her own.

Of course, grown women aren't as likely to fall for that 1+1+1, "my way or the highway" nonsense.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I think this to be true as well, that you would be second to his music, thats why it would not work out between the two of us biggrin

Congrats to you!!! rose

My parents were married for nearly 50 years when my dad passed away. It's good to hear about other couples who make it a lifetime committment.
