Some other favourite memories... meeting dawntreader for the first time. he was the very first one to the restaurant that day and was waiting out the front he recognised me straight away and came up and gave me a massive big hug I adored him from that time onwards
from a long time back now... meeting PanthaGirl for the first time in Sydney years ago she just blew me away and still does
meeting my BigBrother Ronny, his wife Espy and BigSister Sandy and her family for the fist time years ago also in Sydney... that was an amazing night and one I'll never forget nor the wonderful people I was so lucky to spend that time with there are more stories I could be here all day...

Where to begin?
Manchester I think? Savage, JD, Themellowone (who I thought was Redfeathers Freespirit on a rather bizarre night in Phoenix AZ, but one I hold dear to my heart (she was my first international orger London parties, boozies and Manc meetups, Nattise arrives in London Then LA invasion what a trip, Muse (I miss you hon), Supa, Miguel, Madartista, Dook, Dex, Chico, Stymie, (staring at my towel-clad semi-nudity!) Brownsugar, The Audience, my birthdaytwin Finess and PT (and the UK invaders – Lolly + Jon) and Freespirit 2nd time. So many others, I am forgetting already sorry London Invasion, LA on home turf!! Aside from the stress of organising, great to see the LA guys in London, and I finally met the duchies, Hamster, Abierman, Petra. So long ago now It has been great to see everyone over the years, strange at first. Meeting freaks off the internet who all have only one-little-man-in-tight-trousers in common with each other. When you look deeper there is so much more that we all have in common. We are all freaks though Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

Supa was exactly how I imagined him, only in hyper bright technicolor. Karen was comfortable, almost right away. I remember watching everyone meet inside my favorite, now departed record store, Let It Be, over their secret Prince crate at the first MinneVasion and watching everyone squeal and hug. [Edited 3/20/07 4:44am] Yeah, erm sorry Carrie. I should have said something but was a bit embarassed for the both of us.

Freespirit said: I have really been thinking about this today.
I must say, the personal meetings have been among my favorite moments. One that will always stay in my mind is meeting Chico for the first time and staying at his home. Gosh, this was 3 years ago! This experience was the most powerful of them all and stays with me always... no matter the time that has passed. There is something "unspokeningly" amazing about this moment and I can recall what I felt back then, still to this day. Through the years, I know now, meetings such as these are extremely rare. In knowing this, I value it more and more each day, even if we live totally different lives. I will always hold a special place in my heart for him. Ps~ He smells delicious. Driving to the Grand Canyon with Milton and Madartista was amazing... and held a certain magic during that specific time, again, one I will always remember. Spending time with C.C. Allentini, the silent unspoken moments of connection... that I still feel today. It's like walking on similar plains of life at times, only in two different states. We understand so many life meanings/views the same. emm, it was like visiting with a lifelong friend.
Ginnie, it was after I met her that I grew to appreciate our growing friendship and similar understandings of life as well. Richard, again... with what we knew about each other through words... we had that "I know" what you are talking about understanding. Barbara (DiminutiveRocker), I did not chat with her much when I first met her in person. However, she is by far the most devoted, constant, long distant phone friend ever!
Electrostar (Jon), incredible soul with this great/rare appreciation for life. Ivy, well... she was always so shy to get to know in the short time we had, she giggles a whole lot. ~Hugs. Petra, such real and painful conversations I will never forget. Beautiful, nevertheless. Sag10, again... like hugging a lifelong friend.
So many unique personalities, and each one has affected my life to certain degrees, for sure. Invasionthingymajigs are pretty much done for me. Although relationships away from the org are forever growing.
~~~~~ I await to meet Marion (HowComeYouDontCallMe), for sure. Love you Marion. SoulSisters no doubt.
Senik... I absolutely adore. I can only hope to meet him one day soon. TheC. Magnus/Manki
... [Edited 3/20/07 20:05pm] Can't wait Julie!
