Whats the fastest you've ever been?

I'm a speed junkie (no not drugs) and love motorsport,
I have had the pleasure of driving some of the fastest cars on the planet around a race circuit, and want to know what is the fastest you have been (air travel don't count), where and why and what did it make you feel like.

Brrrrrmmmmm Brrrrmmmmm

smile cool

And 100mph by Mazararti is not the answer biggrin

85 mph, maybe? And someone else would have been driving.

I don't like speeding. lol It doesn't interest me and simply seems dangerous.

I've taken my car to just over 100mph. Would have gone faster if I felt I was in a place where it was truly safe.

I've often thought I would like to drive racecars. I like driving fast. smile

i'm on on again off again autosports club person. my former boss turned me on to this hobby and i must say it's really, really fun to slide a car in a skid all the way around a sharp corner big grin

i love events where there is a nicely groomed track, no idiot cell-phone talking drivers alongside to pose a threat, and no cops to limit potential speed.

i need to try and attend more events this year.

I got up to 110 in my honda one time. I know this is awful but after a night of drinking in Boston we'd cruise back home and take pictures of the speedometer:

I don't do that anymore. I just sleep over. smile

lol i don't even know the proper slang. i'm not really dedicated to autosports and my car isn't really suitable for it. i have just enough experience to know i love the challenge of a good course and driving fast under controlled, safe conditions

mdiver

My bike in its old guise 179mph through an official speed trap racing
It now has a bigger engine woot! lets see this year!

Testing the race spec ZX10-RR before i offed last season 192.4mph again speed trap figure but it was geared for top speed which did not help acceleration, most circuits it would be topping at 180-185mph

One day i will top 200mph when i can afford the machinery

Fastest i was going when i stepped off it.....Around 120-125mph...that stung a little

absoLUTEly. nod

i highly recommend this sport (following the novice training course) for everyone. in fact, to some degre i really think that every licensed driver should be required to take some form of instruction like this. it really helps
