I hate it when people take one look at me and assume that I can't speak English!

At one of my last jobs, a lady complained about me to customer service, saying that she didn't think I could help her, because I probably couldn't speak English. The customer service woman stood up for me and said, "Look lady, that girl speaks better English than I do! You shouldn't judge people like that!"

I'm shy and quiet so people think I am conceited, sometimes people say stuff like the quiet ones are the ones you have to watch out for, that just bugs me so much. The reality is that I need to get to know you, trust you and then I open up and there is very few people that I do this with.

I'll actually be there till Monday too cause it was cheaper for me to pay the extra night in the hotel and fly home then than to get a flight out on Sunday. Maybe we can have dinner or something.

If many people have the same "misconceptions" about you, it's probably not that much of a misconception.

When several people have the same perception of me and it's not one that I like, I take a good hard look at myself to see why they feel the way they feel instead of brushing it off and saying, "oh well, they're just wrong".

That said, people who don't know me well think I am cold, arrogant and snobby and I admit fully that this is an air I give off. It bothers me that people think that but at the same time it doesn't cuz I guess that's just me to a certain degree. Those who get to know me find out that I also have some good qualities.
