also....sidenote.... I was flicking chanels and there was some Documentary about Metalica and some new album(at the time) they were recording and the proceses behind it. Lars(I think that's his name...the drummer dude) was trying to "start over" and was getting rid of house clutter and starting anew. Actually I think his girlfriend/wife was just trying to redecorate the house the way she wanted it. Well enuff of thet...some of what he got rid of was a bunch of paintings....several of them were Jean Michel Basquiat's work. One of them went for like 5 million at this auction that Lar's brought the paintings to!.....FIVE million! maybe when U get famous I can sell some of your doodles! [Edited 3/26/07 13:13pm] | |

Your reply to him made you look pretty bad. If you can't take criticism you can't be an artist. Also, isn't soliciting comments going to lead to people pandering towards you and maybe not giving the most honest interpretations of the art? [Edited 3/30/07 11:11am] | |

true...his comment wasn't really that bad. criticism can be MUCH more scathing than that, especially in the art community where people think they've seen it all and live on the premise of "astound me" and not think too much else. | |
