Wow! You guys are so tiny. I had a friend who was 4'10. I felt like a giant yeti when I went out with her. lol

well, in my case there's a medical reason for it (a Chromosomal Disorder I was born with) all my family are very tall

Oh, how interesting. My youngest brother had a friend who has a similar (if not the same) thing. He's a twin and his sister doesn't have it.

My sister has the opposite: she has Marfan Syndrome and she's about 6 ft. tall and the rest of us are all 5'5" or shorter.

Yeah Marfan's is a disease of the connective tissue and people that have it are usually really tall w/ long limbs and fingers. It's actually very dangerous for the heart though because it stretches out the aorta and it can tear. She's not supposed to do anything too strenuous or any contact sports.

But her case is "mild" compared w/ other people who have it more severe and have to be on heart medication their whole lives.

wow sad that does sound dangerous... glad she's only got a mild case of it (so do I - some Turners girls/women can have major physical side effects apart from the height thing and infertility. I have very very mild side effects apart from those two)

I had never heard of Turners syndrome. Well, not until you came along. biggrin I was just reading about it on a site for it. Good thing you don't have the severe side affects I was reading about like the heart and kidney problems.
