The Great MYSPACE EXODUS ?? I deleted 47 friends from my myspace friends list tonight.
Not because I didn't want them as friends anymore, but because since January of this year, they all deleted their accounts. 
Is there a great myspace exodus? Does this mean they're moving on to the next best thing, and myspace is now going to suck? Or does this mean the fair weather fans have all left, and myspace is going to be cool again?
Or maybe it just means I have fickle friends.  | |

I never use myspace or any of those internet based "friends" sites, being a private person one must be cautious to keep a low profile so as one can conduct ones business in private. "Waiting to be banned" | |

I logged into mine for the first time in months and edited my friend list. There were a good 15-20 deleted accounts there. I can't remember who they were now as everyone seems to be present and accounted for. I seem to have less gay Thai men, strippers and random people in there now though.
I want to close my account, start a new one, and only add people I don't see at the org. | |

I basically only use it to promote my music.
I deleted my account there plenty of times out of angstful fits, because it goes against a lot of what I am about both as an artist and person in general and the customisable options are just far too addictive for a person like me. 
But anyway, like I say, it's good to promote some music or whathaveyou and I can't resist having the privilege to squiz the latest imago or jersey spectacle.

It helps me stay in touch with people, but just on the right level, like saying hello once a month without feeling guilty.
Also it allows me to meet new people in the area, and find new music. | |

I've had to block 3 users in the past month for sending spam continually. There aren't as many comments anymore, either; people are just posting cd links 'n stuff. Still, it's a cool concept and it's free...

I'm not a big fan of myspace either. Sometimes I wish I'd never joined. I've toyed with just deleting my account, but instead I just go there very rarely. I'm good thanks, you? | |
