hey everybody, how's it going? Its Tuesday night and things are alright here. I got a few of my midterm grades back today…I’m very pleased. I’m still waiting on one more but I think the worst is over, and it wasn’t even so bad. In fact, I did a lot better than I thought I was going to do.
I went to a charity auction tonight for a public interest foundation and bid (and won) a guided tour and tasting at a local brewery. Very cool! Its for me and 9 of my closest friends. Do people even have 9 “closest” friends? Hmm…I guess I do, actually. Ron, Bill, Naomi, Sarah, Julia, Gina, Lacy, Paul, Sonya, and Lissette. (hey, that’s 10!) I’m a lucky guy. Too bad they all live in different places. Maybe I should plan a big “thing” and get everyone to fly out to San Francisco. I mean, if prince can have a week long celebration, why can’t i? Last week I interviewed with a nearby legal aid organization (for a position as a law clerk) and was offered the spot. Today I accepted. It’s a big deal for a first year law student to get an internship, so I’m feeling pretty thankful. Good lookin’ out, God. I’m totally psyched to do something with the community, too. Its always funny to me that animals and corporations have advocates but the poorest of our citizens are alone in this mess. My ipod totally fizzed the other day. Dead. Kaput. I replaced it…begrudgingly. I’ve become a slave to technology. I don’t think I can even survive a day without my crackberry. And this from the guy who just a few years ago wouldn’t even get a mobile phone because I didn’t think it was necessary for people to be that available. 
I leave for sxsw music festival Thursday morning. From there it’s on to philly. I love spring break! I’ll get to see all but two of the above mentioned people. Then it’s back to the grind. I guess that’s what makes time with friends and family special, right? anyway, that’s what’s up up with me. What’s up with you? | |
