let me ask you something, do you have any friends who call you and then when they find they have nothing to talk about accuse you of being boring?

if you do what is your reaction to this juvenile behavior?

I usually see it as a sign of insecurity on the person's part for calling me in order to entertain them. you should be able to entertain yourself, and if you run out of things to talk about, then it's time to get off the phone. i get highly disturbed (which i probably shouldn't waste my time) by people who try to feed their negative energy into you.

I don't see them as insecure as much as I see them just being rude....either that or they truly believe that the world revolves around them and your sole purpose in life is to accomodate them and their bullshit....

I have no use for them.....

Um, I never had a friend say exactly that, that I can remember. But I know that I get annoyed by friends who call, every day. Once they get up and before bed, and have NOTHING new to say, because they call you every time they get up to take a piss, and your like, yeah, call me, when you have something new to talk about.

I hate that. My mom calls me every five seconds, and when I don't talk to her she gets pissed.

I also had a friend at school who wanted me to meet up every evening. I hated it as we usually didnt have anything to do, naturally. It was all a bit weird like he was a possesive girlfriend sometimes.

When an occasional silence does occur though, and they get awkward, then I get a bit stressed out - not by the silence itself but by their awkwardness. i seem to get stuck with the ones that act funny for a few weeks, but then when they are calm down, they are really actually cool people. this is why i don't have a best female friend. i've never been known to hang with a "clique", not even in high school. i just don't like dealing with female friends for the most part. the ones i do have i only talk to once in a while. but they all seem to have some sort of trait or quality about them that irks me. i really truly feel that this is why i don't have a "BFF" or whatever you call them. a stick partner.
