Sosgemini wants to stay at the Essex House which is exclusively gay. I don't know much about it (yes, I'm not THAT gay), but he doesn't want to stay alone.

I'm staying at the Kent, so is JerseyKRS, Carrie, and Funkmistress.

The Kent is behind the Versace house. Just thought I'd throw that in.

ooh, god... you are asking me to choose between a hotel full of gay men and versace?!?!

YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, DAN!!!

Stay where I'm staying, borgy!!! batting eyes

ooh, there is no question. i love nick and built in sexual possibilities in a hotel, but i want to be where everyone else is. there's nothing quite as much fun as tormenting hotel employees by being loud, drunk, and batshit crazy as a group.

i just couldn't pass up on a joke opportunity.

Warning: IT's not luxurious or anything. It's cheap chic. I just like the location and the fact that it's odd.

the Kent is the place to be.

I think I'm going to book the Lucite Suite and everyone can party there with Erin and I.

falloff

Isn't that like 300 or 400 bucks a night?

The Lucite Suite

The stylistic highlight of the Kent is the 800
square-foot Lucite Suite. This suite is outfitted with clear Lucite
furniture and appliances, and accented by mother of pearl. The
furnishings were custom-designed for the Lucite Suite, even down to
the clear, feather pillows on the chairs. Accents such as metallic
lamps with a retro 50’s look are reminiscent of the South Beach of
the 1970’s, when Lucite debuted.

Lucite Bed

Lucite Bath

Lucite Sofa

The Kent, is one block from Lummus park beach, which is the famous beach they always show in Miami. The section the kent is in front of is the gay section.

The men look like gods. I'm not shitting with you. Gods.

Plus, if you're going to the beach, the Kent offers free pink Hotel towels. giggle

He just doesn't want to book a lavishly gay room.

He's going to book a moderately priced gay room instead.
