You know, my cds, actually. Pretty much anything I actually listen to I've imported. They're all sitting in a stack gathering dust.

Not for long, though. I'm going to finish importing the remainder of them and sell them to give me a little $$ for my spring break trip to NYC. I'd like to be able to eat while I'm there.

Yeah, I do get into these moods where I just ruthlessly go through junk and throw it away. I did that the other day, and attempted to today but couldn't bring myself to throw anything out. I have a half-full trashbag of junk that I'd love to fill up all the way.

my freeweights have been boxed up for the past two moves at least

but that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Part of what has helped me with the harder things is that I'm giving them away to the thrift store of a charity that I REALLY care about ( Lifelong AIDS Alliance ). Then if I start to feel queasy about something I can just go, "hey, this is cool, they're gonna get some money for this and it'll go to somebody who needs help way more than I need this THING".

Doesn't help with the "I'm gonna fix/alter/reconstruct/make-art-with this piece of junk someday" disease, though.
