Right on. lol

What's scary is, they wouldn't do that if a lot of (most?) people didn't wait.

Ive been in the same position hes been in. I know people get frustrated as you and its understandable. Personally because I was so busy in my last job and make so many phone calls you can often forget why you were calling that particular person.

hmm.. but as a director of a company it just doesnt look good for his company. right?

and I couldnt hang up, cos I would be cutting off my nose to spite my face cos it was a business call..

luckily he kinda laughed at my cheek, I told him I was gonna make a cup of tea and it would be best he phone me back when he got his papers in order.. wink

here is what i learned

if you stay on the phone long enough to say "no really i'm not interested" and THEN hang up, they won't call again.

sometimes if you hang up before they talk to you, they'll keep calling and calling.

It's all about instaclick with that boo shit. I don't pick up if it's unknown, private, 800, 888. Oh and if I happen to accidentally pick up that crap and I hear the weird pause for a second...CLICK. Heaven help ya if you're a buddy of mine and you had to sneeze or your phone is acting up. I have no patience!

bah! in my experience, they take that to mean "i'm not interested RIGHT THIS SECOND - please call me back tomorrow night, or maybe in an hour or two, or both!" mad

I hate it when someone leaves multiple voice mails in one day on both of my work lines, "Please call back asap..." and then when I do they either:

1. don't answer the phone
2. say "oh, can you call back in 5 minutes I'm on the other line."
