In person I'm shy, honest, genuine, a little dull, anti-social, occasionally witty, but generally (I'd like to think ) just a straight-forward quite nice, amiable guy once I open up a bit, whereas on the org I'm much more confident, cheekier, a bit conceited sometimes and more sarcastic. The mischevious side to me comes out a bit more.
just admit it- the org makes you naughty.

I think I'm pretty much the same here and in real life. Although I'm a lot more talkative and open in real life I guess.
Lately I've been mostly a lurker on the org and haven't said much. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Co-sign. I usually only get access at work so it sort of limits the amount of time I can spend writing a response. I have to be more succinct. In real life, I can talk the hind leg off a donkey. I can be a lot more shyer in real life sometimes - not with people who know me - but I tend to wait until I open up to people. So the Alun you guys see is the one that all my mates see.

Hmmm, same here. I used to talk non-stop when I was a kid - I think I drove people bonkers - but I'm not so bad these days. I'm much more the 'sit back and listen' type now. [Edited 3/13/07 14:46pm]

I'm the same way here as I am in life . Whatever the circumstances, topics brought up here don't tend to be commonplace. Sincerity isn't an effort, I just hve to think a little more sometimes.

[Edited 3/13/07 14:46pm] I'm the opposite actually. I was pretty shy as a kid, and it got worse in jr. high and high school. Then probably about 10 years ago, I started to open up more and be more of a social person. I'm not sure what happened in those years in between high school and 10 years ago though. I blocked it out I think. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven
