The New Harry Potter Book Cover is Revealed! 
Release date: 07/21/07! It will be the largest single book first printing ever, at 12 million books printed! It's a "long" fold out cover... it's also the first time Valdemort is on the cover too.

I think Chapters will be taking pre-orders.

I think Chapters will be taking pre-orders. We at Barnes & Noble are taking pre-orders, and have been since they announced the new book in January!!! We go all out for this book, it's a phenomenon, really. Kids and their glazed eyes all over the place on Friday night, waiting until midnight until the book is sold... it's crazy. Anyway - when a book cover is front page news on most websites, and announced and shown on the Today Show, you know it's a big deal... J.K.Rowling is a genius. Ten bucks says there will eventually be a Book 8!!! |

Out of the children's covers I actually prefer the Swedish ones. It might be that I'm a bit partial since the guy who does the drawings is an old friend of mine, but I think I'd like them anyway because they're so distinct and have great detail. This is Alvaro:
