GRRRRR!!!

After leaving early from Sydney this morning (um i woke up at 4am- yuk!), I set out to arrive in Melbourne in time for the launch of the Stella McCartney range for TARGET!! This meant designer pieces made affordable to the public!! BUT ALL TURNED SOUR...

Well firstly- I arrived to a queue which *surprise surpriiise* went all around the block! So much for arriving early!!

Secondly!! I got squeezed and squashed and battered about by unruly women and their stronger male counterparts in what was absolute madness and mayhem! GREED!! It was disgusting!

Here i was thinking- woohoo!! I'll pick out just a few pieces...arrived in store (got blocked by a cameraman and reporter too! UM! I'm short and have a suitcase, let me go in damn it!! ) to arrive amongst a stampede of ruthless disgusting creatures who grabbed as much as they could and when they could...there was barely much left except for bigger sizes! I grabbed some scarves- love them! But i just had to see if i could get atleast one other item of clothing in my size!! Women!! WITH BUNDLES of clothes in their arms!!! PUSHING!! SHOVING!! And then amidst all this a photographer took a picture of me looking stressed out as ever amongst this crowd working up a terrible sweat

SO...i decided to take another approach...i prowled around and around the area and waited patiently...i thought at least one woman would realise she just took too much and would put away something she didn't need- in my size ...and it happened!! A gorgeous silk/cotton black shirt!! Tried it on...yes yes very nice will go with this and that, is practical but stylish and had a nice pleated detail at the front- I LIKE!!...Prowled some more but got more and more irritated by the other shoppers- i've seen animals behave better- and all that lovely clothing TOSSED on the floor it was just NOT right! I mean they appreciate that they are all creations!! Cheaper versions- but creations nonetheless!! I don't get how ppl get like that it made me sick!

And my rant is over...i think...until i see the news again and have another bitch about it!!

I got it at a night market, it's made with two antique silk sari fabrics sewn together with a fabric panel at the top with a hole to loop it through- u can wear it in many ways- even a skirt!

Next time you should take a flame thrower. I bet they'll get out of the way then I didn't know Stella had a line for Target. Is it world wide?

LOL yes! Apparently Target in Australia has a lineup of designers- so Stella is the first!! But the first time she did it was for the H&M stores in Europe back in 2004 i believe or something or other.

OMG i just saw it on the news! An older woman just i saw brought her husband to help her and two 20 year olds had to be dealt with for fighting over a piece of clothing! ...i know it's Target, but geez! No class AND!!! Seeing that it was limited edition they should have allowed a certain amount per person... yeah right ...

Embittered...can you tell? Im wrapped with what i got but annoyed that by the time i got there i didn't even get to TOUCH any of the things i wanted to have a look at! I was hoping for a more peaceful shopping experience...and i couldn't get out at one stage and it was seriously claustrophobic...i was even pushed by a MAN!!!
