Oh I know about that Carrie. I have a gorgeous painting on silk.. its really quite big that I need to have framed, I took it to a framers but what they were gonna charge was ridiculous money and it wasnt even the kind of frame I wanted.

Cos it is so delicate I wanted something to show the light through it.. and whacking it into any old frame just wasnt going to give the required effect. So its still rolled up in storage.
Its really beautiful and I must have it out, cos I am not getting any enjoyment from it hidden away.

I might just buy a ready made frame, and mount it myself, for the moment, just so I can hang it, and figure out later what I am really gonna do with it..

It's a crying shame what it costs to have things framed.
The last 2 pieces I bought before this one were luckily just the perfect size for an album frame, and the artist I bought them from told me so. So I was able to pick up a couple of frames from my local record shop for cheap.
