PrintableI like Gladiolas (or gladiolus)...not necessarily yellow, but I couldn't find a better image:
Lilacs--we used to have two huge lilac bushes on our farm and they always bloomed in May, just before my birthday. 
and Gardenias (they smell soooo beautiful!)  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |

Did you used to suck the sweetness out of honeysuckles as a child? I used to.....I don't know if I could bring myself to do it now. I was young and naive then. Lilacs.  There is a lilac bush growing on the one side of my building. Last spring, I snuck a couple of blooms into my house.  Trouble was, they didn't seem to last very long, just a couple of days.RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |
