How's the kitty?

Can you come over for Manchester again? pray

My kitty is stupendous! She got sick a week ago, but she came through ok. She loves to get out on my porch and watch the icicles drip. lol

I'm considering Manchester, for sure. Don't know if it's in the cards this year, with the planned trip to Thailand, though. But it's still a possibility. smile

omfg Well I hope you can make it, although I also hope it doesn't break the bank! lol

And OFCOURSE, what do ya think of me? But you still make me laugh. [/b] lol

biggrin Thats my fave compliment.

Do you like kids?

Whats your ideal guy?

What do you do anyways?

Pick one : You'd rather be the First lady, Brad Pitts Wife, President of Nasa?

Kids are ok. smile I adore my nieces and nephews. I think about being a parent some day, but I'm not sure I have it in me. I have very high standards on how I feel a child should be raised and I don't know I'll ever live up to them. I've been thinking about foster care somehwat superficially. I used to volunteer at a montessori school once a week working with a little girl helping her learn to read. I'd love to do that again. I'd love to teach, actually.

My ideal guy is intelligent, stylish, has great taste in music, makes me laugh and is utterly devoted to me, as I would be him.

I work for Target Technology Services (yes, Target stores) doing Workforce Management for our internal helpdesk. It would take me 15 minutes to try to explain exactly what that is and it would bore you.

Geez, I'm setting feminism back a few decades, but I'd wanna be first lady. Brad Pitt doesn't interest me and running Nasa sounds like a lot of work. lol I'd be all Jackie O with fabulous fashion and use my position to do whatever I can for the causes I'm passionate about.

I've been wanting to do foster care forever, but it's not ideal with my kids being as small as they are. I think when they start school it would be ideal thgough. And you are totally correct about the standards thing. It all changes once the kids actually arrive. I was always, like, MY KIDS WILL NEVER ..... falloff Well, guess what? lol

Okay.

Fave book?

Fave magazine?

Who on the org can you relate to the most. And this is not a FAVE orger question but, who do you think is the most like you?

Who do you really think the org elittest's are?

Ps. You'd be a total Jackie O. giggle

I have a headache and hate taking tablets, any ideas on how to get rid of it fast?

Also my kitty is not well and is having lots of tests done on her today. What should I do to make her evening special when she gets back?

And now my last question.I want to look a hero in the kitchen and cook something very tasty and quick. I think I have exhausted my signature dishes... any suggestions?

Book, that's hard. I usually like whatever I'm reading at the time best. And I tend to go through books a lot.

Magazines I don't really read all that often. Bust magazine is probably my favorite, though I let my subscription run out a few years ago and I never bothered renewing. I might do that again soon. I like Paper, but it seems kinda silly to read sometimes being that I don't live in New York. I liked Entertainment Weekly for good schlocka, but I found they would pile up and I'd not finish one before I could get to the next one. If it were Entertainment Every-Other-Weekly, I might still be reading it. lol
I can get into just about any flavor (nationality) of Vogue, but only for the ads and photos.

I share quite a bit with a lot of people here, that's kinda hard. Applekisses and I are a lot alike in many ways. When brownsugar was posting more regularly, I think we often agreed on things. HereToRockYourWorld and I also agree on many, many things. It's tough to say, I guess. What I find more interesting is discovering how well I relate with people I never thought I would. I love the org for that. I really do.

Org elite is an oxymoron, and I mean that sincerely. lol When people bring that up it really just makes me laugh.

PS- Thanks. I think so too. giggle

Caffeine!!! lol I don't know, I never get headches. boxed

Have some treats for her and just pay attention. If she wants attention give it to her, if she wants to be alone, let her wander off and sleep. Hope she's ok. hug

ummmm... take out. lol I don't cook all that often. Throwing together a nice stir fry is always easy and yummy. You can even cut corners by finding a ready-made sauce. Brown your meat (I'd use tofu or seitan) in a yummy flavoured oil with garlic and onion, add in your fresh veggies and use the sauce and serve over rice.

OK, more questions:

Will Adam Ant ever make a comeback?

Do you watch "[adult swim]"?

Remember that Mary Jane Girls single, "In My House"?

Speaking of which, wasn't Rick James an underrated producer?

Why does music suck today?

Aren't you upset that Andy Taylor left Duran Duran?

The future is here, but where are the flying cars?

What's your favorite Simpsons episode?

What is a hipster and would I qualify as one?

Why am I still lonely? sad

My hair! lol
That and I take fairly good care of my skin, particularly my face.

I don't eat cereal. I'll eat granola with yogurt and fruit, but I've been off that kick lately. I usually get a craving for Fruity Pebbles about once a year. And I'll buy a box and have like, 3 bowls over a couple of days and then it will sit on my shelf until it goes bad and I finally throw it out.

I don't HATE anybody. There are folks I'm not very fond of, but I do my best to simply ignore them. So much so it's hard for me to think of anyone off the top of my head even. lol

People people people. This website has been a part of my life for 5 years now. It's taken me across the ocean and back more than once and all over the US, soon around the world. I've invited people into my home and I've received those invitations back and then some. And I've met people who I know will be in my life forever now.
And while it may seem like I spend an AWFUL lot of time here, I still have a life outside of this place. lol I make sure I have a decent balance.

Will Adam Ant ever make a comeback? No.

Do you watch "[adult swim]"? I don't have cable, otherwise I'm sure I would.

Remember that Mary Jane Girls single, "In My House"? Actually, no. But I remember a house song with that name. Maybe it's the same?

Speaking of which, wasn't Rick James an underrated producer? ummm... no idea. lol

Why does music suck today? It doesn't! You gotta look for what you like.

Aren't you upset that Andy Taylor left Duran Duran? No.

The future is here, but where are the flying cars? I don't know, but I wish we had them too. sad

What's your favorite Simpsons episode? they're all good.

What is a hipster and would I qualify as one? hipsters are people with great hair. yes.

Why am I still lonely? sad oh, you. You gotta make yourself not be lonely. It's hard when you're in it, but you'll pull out.

Interesting. lol OK, I have a few more now.

Punk or Metal?

Does the old school dirty, nasty, freaky Prince still get you horny?

Didn't you hate the "Batman & Robin" movie?

What's The Time now without Jerome?

What do your parents do?

I heard that even with the biggest cock, girls get off better by clit stimulation. Is this true?

Are you looking forward to the new B-52's record?

What was the last movie you saw?

Wasn't Bowie still the man in the 80's?

How many pen strokes does it take to completely wear the ink out of a pen or marker?

When I was coming up, I used to get criticized for supposedly talking and acting "white". But what does it mean to act "white"? Or is that just a reflection of their ignorance?

See a band or DJ I really love with friends who love that artist too. I think the most transcendental moments I've ever had in my life have involved music events. It's also important to me to spend hours getting ready for the vent, putting together an outfit, doing make-up and hair and generally being girly. giggle That's a big part of the fun for me. It's the whole day in entirety, the anticipation, the getting ready, the actual event, the conversation afterwards, even the next morning recap on the phone.

A close second would be simply spending a day on my own going about town with no kind of agenda on a beautiful day. Stop for coffee, spend hours in a book store, maybe pick up some new music, relax outside in the shade.
