Damn, you called the police just because she was talking and laughing after midnight? If someone did that to me I'd feel pretty vengeful too.

I'm not saying I condone any of her behaviour, but I do think it matters who starts a fight.

Believe me, the bitch started the fight long before I did. She and her husband took me to court for a water leak that they NEVER told me about. I wound up having to pay $300 for a leak that I was not even aware of. I was very good about it, and paid up the money, and have not said a word to that woman. If anyone should be vengeful, it is me, for getting stuck with a bill that could have been avoided.

Well if it was her that started it then I can see why you're pissed. People should just mind their own business. But it sounds like it's too late now, the fight has escalated beyond control. It seems like neither of you will find peace until one of you decides to move.

All's I'm saying, Retina, is that there is A LOT more to this story than what I've posted here.

Y'know what, pyscho?
After reading your threads about this woman,
I think that there's a pretty strong chance that this person living under you is my mom.

And you're right.

She'a an absolute bitch.

hug Thanks, believe me, I'm going to. I feel like sending this bitch a copy of the letter I'm sending to the condo association. I should put a note on it saying, "If you call the association one more time making false allegations against me, I'm SUING you for harrassment!"

Nancy, I once had a neighbour in Uni who complained about me because the ELECTRICITY was too loud. Apparently, whilst my stereo was in stand-by mode, he could hear it through the walls. He had a nervous breakdown and left his course months later. confused He wasn't of 'sound mind', as they say.

Don't let some old crone bully you; stand your ground. And try not to worry about it - if you're doing nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear.

Keep good record of all the shit she has pulled! I had these psycho landlords that made my life a living hell for 2 years.

Before I moved in, their granddaughter had the apartment and she had 2 dogs. They dug the carpet down to the floor board and when I moved in I asked if they were going to fix it before or after I moved in. They said they would take care of it, no problem. Every so often I would remind them it needed fixing, until then I just put a floor mat over the carpetless floor. After a year of asking them to fix it I finally gave up. Decided it was nothing I couldn't live with and I'm not one to cause problems anyway so I left it at that.

Well they harrassed me over all kinds of ridiculous and stupid shit. One time I didn't pay them on time and it was only because I was at work till 9:00 that night, couldn't get to the bank and then paid them the very next day and you know that whore had the nerve to tell me they were going to call the cops on me for stealing from them. I was like eek omfg Stealing? in her accent she said you no pay the rente, we change the locks eek I was like Carmen, I have been living here for 2 years and this is the first time I'm late and I even called you earlier in the day to tell you I would be by tomorrow and you said it was fine! She denied that we ever talked on the phone! lol nuts

I finally decided to move because I couldn't stand paying them money to harrass me and when I asked for my deposit back, she said they were keeping it to pay for the ruined carpet. eek WHAT!?! I told her that she knows the carpet was like that when I moved in and that it was because of her granddaughters dogs and she said the carpet was my responsibility. I told her that I wanted my deposit back that day and she said not only was she not giving me my deposit, she was going to sue me for the damaged carpet! Fuck that. I took pictures of all kinds of shit and filed a claim against her and as soon as she got served the papers she paid up.

People are absolutely out of their minds Nancy. Keep records of this whore and never underestimate the lengths her craziness will go to vindicate her insanity.

Becareful psycho

I had trouble from a neighbour once, I posted about it here

I was listening to some music on my tv and it was in the afternoon, it wasnt really loud

my next door neighbour was a pilot and he must have been working shifts

anyway I heard knocking on windows all around my house

and I found a guy with his nose pressed up to my bedroom window knocking

he asked where the noise was coming from and said to come out its serious
I didnt know what he was talking about and thought there may have been an accident or something, so I went outside to find out
anyway he said that my music was too loud, and he cant sleep

(funny cos my livingroom is right next to his living room and his bedroom is on the other side of the building and he wouldnt have heard the music that loud had he been sleeping in his bedroom)

I told him it wasnt loud and he freaked out at me..

he pushed me and started walking into my house,
I thought he was gponna smash my tv up or me.. and I stuck my foot out at the door so he couldnt open it any wider and I used force to quickly lock the door
he proceeded kicking in my door and by that time I was scared shitless and in tears
I phoned the police and made a formal complaint about him
Apparently the police had many complaints about this guy and he did move away
It was scary living next door to a freaking psycho

But the funny side is, I was watching a Prince video and when the police cam to my house I put on the video to show how loud it was.. and they were like oooh.. I LOVE prince.. damn, never seen him about in ages.. I loved Purple Rain etc etc

and they were sat on my sofa relaxed bopping about to Prince when they should have been taking my statement

lol

Just becareful you dont piss someone off too much.. and go through the correct procedures
cos this woman could have friends.. unsavoury characters and you dont wanna live in your home being afraid

hug

Anx

damn, this is annoying.

i've lived in apartments all my adult life, and through a big part of my youth.

one thing i've learned from sharing a home with other tenants is TOLERANCE.

if my upstairs neighbor is being rambunctious one night, i let it slide because the next night, i might be the rambunctious one and if i cope with his noise, he'll cope with mine, and we'll all be happy and not have any nasty vibes in the building.

now, if my neighbor is making noise EVERY night, then we'll have to talk. MEANWHILE, this is home to both of us and as grown ass adults, we cut each other slack so we can enjoy our home and have fun here from time to time. no biggie!

when i hear people complaining about petty shit like "you walk too loud" or "you slam your doors" or "you vacuum too early", i'm like, ya know what? those are the sounds of BEING ALIVE. it's ambient noise. my neighbor makes noises almost every night that sound like he's moving his furniture or something, but i got used to it. he's doing whatever it is he does every day. i turn on some music or put on a DVD, drowns it right out. these days, i don't even notice it.

if people want perfect, uninterrupted silence and uncompromised solitude from their homes, they need to move their asses to the country and live on a farm.

UGH that bugs me.

if my upstairs neighbor is being rambunctious one night, i let it slide because the next night, i might be the rambunctious one and if i cope with his noise, he'll cope with mine, and we'll all be happy and not have any nasty vibes in the building.

now, if my neighbor is making noise EVERY night, then we'll have to talk.

UGH that bugs me.

damn, this is annoying.

i've lived in apartments all my adult life, and through a big part of my youth.

one thing i've learned from sharing a home with other tenants is TOLERANCE.
