It always makes me laugh when people wonder about what it's like to be blind? They say stuff like 'what do they see then?' and 'must be black all the time like when we close our eyes'. falloff They're blind, they don't see anything.

That's not true in most cases. Most blind people see something, just not enough to be useful. It really depends on the reason someone is blind.
I'm blind in one eye and I see things from the very top of my eye, and I can see the scars from the surgeries I had. I've learned to ignore it and just use my better eye. Got absolutely no depth perception though.

That's deep.

I think. confuse

falloff Can't prove it by me. Meggy's always laughing at me because I can't see how close things are. Well, laughing with me, it really can be very funny.

LittleSmedley

I had a brilliant idea for blind people the other day. Whiskers for blind people!

5 metre long whiskers, made out of fibre optics or something, like cats and moles, so they can feel their way around.

Or, how about a box that they strap to their head, that lets out a high pitched noise?

Like a bat?

giggle Keep thinking, most of them get around just fine.
My only worry would be how to tell if my food looks alright. Meggy says if I go totally blind she's going to feed me moldy food. She says I'll know something's wrong with it if she's laughing. confused
