sooooo...im gonna be turning 21 in just a few days now and i guess i dont have any idea of what im gonna do 4 muh birfday, which got me wondering about what other people do 4 their 21st birthdays...so the question i pose is: what would ur perfect 2-1 celebration be?...what did u do 4 ur 21st birthday?...4 those of u not yet 21, what would u (like 2) do 4 ur birthday??...

honestly, most birthdays are come and go just like any other day 2 me (other than the fact that i get more phone calls than average), but i guess i feel that this 1 deserves 2 be treated as somewhat of a special occasion

I had mine at McDonalds Wendy and Lisa were there, not THE Wendy and Lisa, but my dad's dental nurse and my sister.

19 is the legal drinking age here...
i had a big party, can't remember if we started before the bar
but i supposedly had a large number of shots
then we went back to my place and my friends knocked over the fence
outside the building, took the fire extinguishers off the wall and
emptied them in the hallway... i didn't remember taking my knives down
"so no one would get hurt" until i found them stashed in the cupboard
the next day (btw i cut myself ) and my friends left post it notes
all over the apartment saying "m's too sexy for her clothes"
(popular song at the time) and stuff like that i did not answer
the door the next day for fear of being evicted

on my actual birthday i'll be too busy with school and crap to do anything, most likely. but hopefully some weekend close to that i'll go into the city and get wrecked with my best friend.

Mine's coming up soon too! Seems like only yesterday I was going to my senior prom.

No, but I did decide to take a short cut through some fields and got bogged down and caked in mud. I think despite the late time of night by the time I made it back home my parents had a hunch I hadn't had the best of times.

I didn't go with a date, but then neither did most of my friends. I went to the bathroom, came out and couldn't find them. I walked around for 5 mins feeling really awkward before trudging off home. I did quite a bit of that back then, more than once from a club, and the walks were often several miles.

Well, I had mine back on February 11th. It went as follows:

We live in a shite large town, so we ended up at TGIFridays. I began the night with an Irish carbomb, then a straight Guinness from the draft and so on. Don't let any one tell you you have to get shitty drunk just cos it's your twenty-first. Drink slow, enjoy the wonders of your first night of drinking legally. Cos the first doesn't happen again.

Ehm, not that it was that big of deal. Anyway, I had a few martinis and such, I was pleasantly drunk. I peed a lot in the toilet which was inconveniently located at the other side of the building, so my friend Jessie, for awhile, DID have to steady me as I swayed over to the ladies room.

We took a camera, had stupid pictures, ate appetizers, then, Alex and I came home where Alex rolled a birthday joint, I got high and we attempted to watch A Scanner Darkly which we'd just bought, but were so high we couldn't even look at the screen. So, we went upstairs, and shagged and then fell asleep.

Really, it was a great birthday.

I had a house party as I was a student at the time. It was great. I also got together with my girlfriend at the time which was a bonus.

I went to First Ave with a few friends and finally got to go upstairs(!) after years of hanging out there and got my free bottle of horribly cheap champagne. Then we went to another club after 1 to dance for a few more hours and the DJ (who was a friend of a friend) played me a special birthday song and I met a cute boy who bought me a rose when we left and walked me home. Which was no small feat considering we were downtown and walked alllll the way back Uptown.
That's the only time I have ever received flowers from a man.

And that's all I really remember.

I booked a bar and had all my family and friends, and boyfriend, over for a big bash. Not usually my thing, but the bonus was that they ALL turned up, so it was actually a really good night! Then those still standing came back to mine for a party!

Foolproof plan if you ask me

My 23rd is in a week, not sure what to do for that yet Except go to the pub, of course

I seriously don't remember mine.

But I had a full 3 years of being a drunk by that time.

Mine was so long ago, I can barely remember it....but I can say that a lot of liquor was consumed....loud assed music was maniacally danced to.. ...wimmens was met and hit on.....one of them ended up being a B-day gift....

but for you, have a blast, don't do anything crazy or illegal....and be damned sure that very little, if any, of your own money is spent.....
