Alrighty, we now had about 4 or 5 episodes of this show in Australia now and it has been hyped beyond belief.

Is it supposed to be a comedy?

Cos I'm still waiting for the laughs.

It is the most dull, overhyped rubbish I have seen for ages.

And on another point, what's the story with putting bad hair, braces, bushy eyebrows, glasses and braces (teeth) on an otherwise pretty enough girl, just to bring home the "ugly" cliche.

What a pile of turds.

I saw 3 episodes, and didn't laugh once.


And to make things worse, the show centers around Ugly Betty, who is the most one dimensional, uninteresting character on the show--which says allot because all the actors/actresses have perfected their one dimensional, tepid characters.

It doesn't make sense that someone working in fashion/beauty would have no fashion sense at all.

I watched about 10 minutes of it then turned it off.

I love this show. It tickles all of my gay feathers. America Ferrera is awesome! Sure it's a bit cliched, but the show has a lot of heart going for it. I like that it deals with how perfect and beautiful people can be, but as much as they are pretty, they are very ugly on the inside. I also like that they are tackleing the topic of gay teens in a really cool way. The show reminds me of Ally McBeal sometimes.

It takes a while to find it's voice, but it does find it. Eventually the characters are not so polarized and much much more integrated ith each other and story lines. I discovered it about episode 7 and just fell in love. Vanessa Williams is great and her character has seen a lot of growth. There's a lot more than bitchiness to her. Her assistant Mark and Receptionist Amanda are great too.

I dunno, I think it's a really good show and worthy of watching.

Its ok in a sleepy-feel-good-not-thinking-or-needing-to-concentrate-happy-go-lucky kinda way..
