Wacked out dreams

Does anyone else have them? I've been having the strangest ones ever lately and I can't figure out why.

In one, I was talking to my dead grandfather on the phone only he wasn't dead, he was living in Japan with a new family and making hot fudge and marshmallow sundaes.

In another one I was in a polygamous relationship and one of the other wives caught me having sex with our husband in her bedroom. She then proceded to terrorize me for the rest of the dream while I ran upstairs and screamed, "He's my husband, too!!"

shake

I don't know what's worse, being sleep deprived or having to deal with this insanity everytime I close my eyes. confused

It's scary how easily we accept the scenarios that our dreams put us in, isn't it?

I constantly have strange and vivid dreams. I dreamt recently about two brothers who I knew who had babies at the same time. The older onesĀ“ baby was born with deformed arms.

eek

that's freakin' creepy!

How old were you when you started having that dream?

I've never had a recurring dream but I have had recurring themes.

My recurring dreams freak me out a bit. I've talked on here about my ongoing saga with shoe dreams. Long story as short as I can make it, I had recurring dreams of looking for my shoes for years (all different circumstances, but in every dream I had lost my shoes and was looking for them), I finally had a dream where I said screw it and walked into the nearest show store and bought a new pair, they were extra fabulous shoes, even. I stopped having them for a long time. Then a few months ago in a dream I purposely took my shoes off and left them on a street corner. I went about the dream, then worried about where they were and why I'd left them where they were sure to be taken. When I got back, they were right where I'd left them. confused

I wonder when my next shoe dream will be. lol

dreaming of lost shoes? i wonder if that means you are looking for a way out of some situation?

http://www.dreammoods.com...ary/s2.htm

To dream that you are not wearing any shoes, signifies that you have a lack of confidence in yourself and low self-assurance. You may be dealing with issues concerning your self-identity. Thus if you dream that you lose your shoes, then it suggests that you may be searching for your identity and finding/exploring who you are.

it's funny how our own minds can't even be straight forward with us.
