Was never mentioned in relation to intelligence: cloudy judgement. If there's going to be a serious discussion about intelligence and comparative countries then a good start would be to define intelligence. Capacity to reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly, comprehend ideas and language, and learn. Innate cognitive ability. Measurement of an IQ test. Genetic factors; race, gender. ofcourse europeans are not more intelligent than americans
but i do believe that europeans are better informed and have far easier access to current events, world politics and alternative views and reports. europeans are generally better informed than most of the british and the british are better informed in general than most americans. both america and britain try to program their populations, europe in general is far more rebellious and the people are more aware of their liberties. remember if you are not programming yourself, somebody else is.... are you ready for submission

Once a definition on intelligence can be agreed upon by the GD members, then a debate can procede on whether Europeans are more intelligent than Americans.
The next question is: What time line?; the past 20 years?, 50 years? 100 years? Depending on which definition is chosen, it matters. (I really approached this as a funny topic...I'm dropping off from the beach view and heading for the mat) By the way, I'll start: I believe in the multiple intelligence theory.
