Fussy Eaters

An old, old friend of mine will not eat/drink any hot liquid. Tea, coffee, soup etc do not pass his lips.

I myself can be quite fussy. It usually takes me a long time to decide on something to eat when I go out for a meal as the dishes usually have pluses and minuses.

Who's the pickiest eater you know? How annoying is it? Is it you? smile

One of my sisters is absolutely ridiculous. The ONLY veggies she eats are spinach & carrots, PERIOD. She'll freak out @ harmless shit like olives, mushrooms, a little sliver of cilantro hmm

I served an appetizer once on a holiday - some shit from TJ's, Thai chicken sticks or something - she actually picked through it (it's like a little eggroll) to try to get microscopic slivers of coconut out chair Asking me, "Is that a piece of coconut???" pissed HELL YEA IT'S A PIECE OF COCONUT, IT'S FUCKING TRYING TO BE "THAI"!!! wall

I can't handle that kinda shit - if you're that picky, cook your own food @ all times please. Don't drag everybody else down that silly ass road, it's so annoying disbelief

Sorry to sound so annoyed, the family has been eating together a lot lately - she makes me batty nutty
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

I have texture issues too, I'm with you there. But my preferences don't seem weird to me lol As long as it's not lumpy (cottage cheese, oatmeal, un-stirred sour cream) or too soft (many fruits) shrug

Smells I can't handle - fresh tomato & melon ill

I wasnt allowed to be picky when I was growing up.. we had to eat EVERYTHING off our plates, and couldnt leave anything.. kind of *think of the starving children in Africa* *count yourself lucky you got a hot meal and good food infront of you* blackmail lol So whether I hated something, I had to just learn to love it.. or swallow it down real quick with a big gulp of orange juice

I remember not being allowed to leave the table once until I finished something. I don't even remember what it was. I do remember, I eventually won. I just sat there and sat there and wouldn't eat.

Oh I would get smacked if I did that.. I can remember on Fridays cos my Dad worked late we used to play up to our Mum, who was softer, but she would sit at the table with the wooden sppon by her side ready to whack us, if we did anything naughty.. eek

I remember a girl I worked with was a fussy eater and she would only eat yellow or orange food.. so her diet consisted of mostly chips, baked bean, pies, chicken nuggets and stuff like that confused

My son!

He won't eat bread, yet he'll eat grilled cheese, hamburgers and hot dogs. He won't eat spaghetti, but he'll eat pizza and macaroni & cheese. He won't eat cereal with milk. His idea of breakfast is a bowl of dry cereal. Yet, he drinks milk with almost every meal.

I don't understand this kid. confused
