Oh, my issues aren't with her losing her period, it's with her being 450 pounds.

If a woman's body fat falls below a certain percentage (I think it's 4 or 6 percent or something) she will stop menstruating regardless of her weight. So, Anorexic woman, and body builders would experience that.

But this woman--to be pregnant and not realize it? Good lord. She obviously lives with a great deal of discomfort if she can't didn't notice a baby kicking inside of her.

Some babies don't kick, though.

She just sounds like someone who is very out of touch with her body, which is sad.

Becoming pregnant is one of the biggest changes your body will go through, I think she was in denial.

exactly. that denial goes along with being out of touch with your own body. She obviously isn't very healthy.

Obviously she didnt get morning sickness, but she must have felt discomfort as the baby grew, even if they dont kick they move. I dont even know how big 420 pounds is, Im assuming its fairly big, but still.

Suffice to say that 420 ain't small, for sure...for a woman, that falls in the huge category..... eek

I would think that at 420lbs, this woman would be considered obese.

this dude must have been a contortionist. biggrin

I say give him a medal for courage above & beyond the call of duty. He actually climbed on top and made love to a 420 pound woman? Dayum! You can get lost in that sh!t. He's more of a man than I am.

I'm with Imago & Carrie, this story doesn't make sense. Something about it smells fishy.

America's political system used to be about the "pursuit of happiness." Now more and more of us want to stop chasing it and have it delivered.

My sister had a baby when she was 14 in the 60's and she knew she was pregnant but my parents didn't know and I asked my mom how did you not know she was pregnant since she's thin and it would obviously show? My mom said that they wore baggy peasant shirts then and she just didn't suspect her at 14 to be pregnant I suppose and she just thought that she was gaining a little weight. Anyway, she ended up having the baby at their house by herself. Then she brought the baby down to her friends house and her friend brought her to the hospital. Now my sister is 46 and the baby is 30-something and has 2 kids of her own. Crazy
