"The Burning Tigris" by Peter Balakian, about the Armenian Genocide. I'll start reading it on my flight back home. Just finished reading "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" by Lynne Truss. Did you notice my proper punctuation? I didn't put a comma after "Shoots".

Yes, it is. Even more so the second time you read it. lol I mean, Nagarjuna's Middle Way was pedantic, but I loved it, but this? The only book I've even come close to having to labour through like this was 'The Tibetan Book of The Dead'. It's a chore and I don't know if I'll get through it. I'm only reading it now because I gave up the first time.

The Tibetan Book of the Dead is next on my list. It was recommended by an orger and coincidentally my cousin is reading it right now. We always share books. I hope it's not going to be a chore to read.

Just getting to Vonnegut.....my reading list in the recent past has either been leadership along the lines of Sun Tzu and the like, and my old political philosophy texts from college....communist manifesto.....needed to take a break....so now I'm rediscovering the classics and the great writers....

i can totally see how vonnegut would be a logical progression from sun tzu and political philosophy. nod
