jeremy irons was in the most recent david lynch movie. his teeth looked REALLY jacked up. i can't quite explain what was wrong...then again, david lynch has jacked up teeth too. they're like black and brown or something. really gross.

he can just keep his mouth closed when i meet him - i'd be ok with that. biggrin

He was working out at my gym when he was here, making M. Butterfly (worked with some of the same trainers). Met him in the locker room. He's surprisingly tall.

Hired one of the trainers to go on location w/him for House of the Spirits and double as his stand-in (pun semi-intended).

If you haven't seen this, then this is a MUST see movie.

It is about a composer called Salieri so envies of Mozart's genius, that on his death bed he tells a priest why he thinks he is responsible for Mozart's death.

Based on a play by Peter Shaffer, the movie is directed by Milos Forman. The music in the movie treanscends so many levels, Schaffer hiself stated during writing the screenplay; "Listen, the music is becoming the third character of this film."

What makes this movie so beautiful is the loving dedication that went into it; from screenwriters, director, actors, costume design, stage design (filmed in communist Prague, to be exact) and musical performances.

The acting is AMAZING. F. Murray Abrahams won, logically. Even though it cost Tom Hulce a statue. Only one can win.

The movie is able to convey the emotions, the joy, the horror of Mozart's life and Salieri's gruesome tale.

Please, please, please, open your mind to this movie. If you are not a fan of classical music, it might be so you come out a fan just because of the experience.

WHile looking for a picture of the movie poster, I came across a site that has LOADS of info, pictures, transcript etc to dwell on.

I clicked PLAY on my extensive MP3 Mozart database and am now flipping through the page. TOTALLY love it!

For all of you that think about watching the movie in the near future, only click this link AFTER you have seen it, please. Loads of spoilers here; http://www.amadeusimmorta...e/main.php
