PrintableI don't blame you for feeling awful after THAT dream. EEEESSHHH!!! I think that all it takes is a good night of sleep tonight. I'm sure you wont dream the same dream again.
I've had dreams where I've had limbs torn off and I can swear that I know what it really feels like because of the realism of the dream. I can't imagine having to feel what you felt in your dream. I had a dream last night I was sitting on a tall brick wall in the darkness with Anx and we were eating veggie pizza singing "can't touch this"

when I have bad dreams, they're usually tied to my own misdeeds....so when I behave, I dream good...the only death dreams I have are of my own demise....but in every case, I just shake it off, look around to make sure I'm good to go...and I'll go back to sleep.....though I am prone to the worst dream within the bad dream...where you think you're up, but you're really in another layer of the bad dream.....I HATE THAT!!! He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.
