Off topic, but you should have seen the body language from my ex wife when Erin hugged her. Fucking HILARIOUS.  I do that too. So does everyone in my family.
I hugged one of my professors at Christmas time and I've noticed that I often touch people when talking. Also, I've heard that the "patting the back" hug is a sign of the hugger being uncomfortable. [Edited 3/2/07 7:42am]  | |

It's the formal handshake deal in those situations that makes me feel uncomfortable. It's fine now, I am used to it but the feel of stubble on your face was very bizzare! I hug to their right.
I've had to kind of re-train my hugging with my girlfriend. She's deaf in her right ear, so if I hug her like I would other people and say anything, she can't hear me very well. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1! | |

Hey IB, I actually thought of this thread over the weekend.
